Developing Youth Leaders Today!
The Community Services YMCA in collaboration with Elementz and Campaign for Youth have created a leaders club called Power Players. Power Players is a leadership program created to enhance personal growth, political education, critical thinking and community organizing. Power Players had their first meeting on January 23rd and with over 22 students in attendance. The program begins officially on February 6th. Click here for more information.

Family Fun at Movie Premiere
The January 13th movie premiere of Jump In held at the Dayton Teen Center produced lots of fun and smiles from parents and children. During the premiere, kids had the opportunity to participate in movie inspired games and to win prizes too big to carry out of the Teen Center. Staff Member on Community Board
Titus Byer, Program Coordinator for the Dayton YMCA Teen Center, was asked to be head over the Organization Committee for the Business Owners Association of the City of Dayton.
