THIS MONTH'S ACTIVITIES

Academic Growth at Parker
Jaleel Bean is improving his skills with the help of the SES tutoring at J.P. Parker Elementary. Tutoring coordinator Jason Baker is excited to be seeing improvements already. "The students really seem to enjoy coming to tutoring. Their behavior has been tremendous! Students have been earning tickets for good behavior and accomplishments. This week, they were able to "buy" things with their Tutoring Tickets. It was neat to see them being selective in the items they bought." This program is offered free to qualified students. For more information on tutoring services, contact, CincyAfterSchool Tutoring Director Paul Clemens.

Meet Rebecca Kelley
Working for Rebecca Kelley, District Vice President of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati and top dog over Community Services YMCA is never a dull moment. If you want to be challenged and learn something new everyday, she's the one to work with. She likes to refer to herself as a Change Agent and rightfully so. She is a woman of amazing vision who takes her job as the Chief Gardener of our greenhouse projects very seriously. Pictured here with her husband Michael after receiving the 40 under 40 award, beyond work she is active in her church, is rearing two lively boys, and sits on several boards. Try keeping up with her and you'll get exhausted thinking about it.
