It’s a brand new day for the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati. We are continuing to roll out an all new brand strategy that helps us more clearly share our story, and ultimately enhance our ability to inspire lasting personal and social change.
At the Y, we've always known that positive change only comes about when we invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. And that's why we're here.
We have three areas of focus:
Youth Development - because children and teens need caring adults to provide support, guidance and encouragement as they grow.
Healthy Living - because wellness in spirit, mind and body strengthens our very being and enhances our interactions with others
Social Responsibility - because we truly are in this together and together we can harness our individual strengths and bring about positive change around us
Our new look includes the new bold, active and welcoming logo that more accurately reflects who the YMCA has always been: a vibrant, caring association of diverse people like you who are passionate about strengthening the foundations of the community. The graphic emphasizes the 'Y' in the YMCA name just as the YMCA embraces friendships and mentoring in our relationships between staff, volunteers, members, participants and community partners.
The new YMCA brand is a national change that is the result of more than two years of analysis and research by the YMCA of the USA. Locally, all of our branches will continue to incorporate these changes.
So while we've changed our appearance to better reflect the work we do and the positive impact we make, we're still supporting this community in the same way we always have. We are still the YMCA - your YMCA - putting Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body.
We look forward to enriching more lives and more families, and to further strengthening this community for decades to come.
Yours in Y spirit,
Sandy Berlin Walker
