Responsible for program operations which include program development and implementation, staff hiring, training and supervision. Effective staff, volunteer and community relationships are a must. New program development and improvement of existing programs are two key areas of this position. ASSISTANT SWIM TEAM COACH (4/22/08)
Under the supervision of the Swim Team Coach, the position of Assistant Swim Team Coach primarily responsible for assisting in coach for Swim program. The Assistant Swim Team coach will work closely with the Aquatic and Swim Teach Coach/Instructor. Individual needed to lead the team of instructors in providing a progressive gymnastics program for students in a safe and friendly environment. To carry out the mission of the YMCA through progressive gymnastics lessons that will promote the development of spirit, mind and body. Must have at least 3 years of teaching experience, and demonstrate a high level of knowledge for the sport of gymnastics. WATER FITNESS INSTRUCTOR (1/23/08)
Instructor is primarily responsible for instructing and leading classes in the aquatic programs.
