Information Regarding Scheduling
- Normally two educators travel to a school.
- Each child will see both a van program and a classroom program.
- We will teach as many programs as will fit into your school day.
(5+ requires a lunch break)
- Our programs are 40 minutes long, and 5 minutes is needed for transition time.
- Classes come out to the van at their scheduled time for van programs.
- A Discover Health Educator comes to the scheduled classroom for the classroom program.
- A school needs to have at least 125 students.
- We can come multiple days.
- Teachers must stay with their class.
How to Schedule
- Determine a few dates that work for your school.
- Call Discover Health to check availability and get scheduled at least 1 month prior to the visit.
- Determine the time slots and programs that will work for your school.
- You will need the teachers names, number of students and grade levels for each class.
- We will need to know where we can park our 38-foot van and be able to have access into the school.
