FITNESS FUN
2B FIT Ages 8-13 This
12 week group intervention program is for overweight youth ages 8-13 and their
families. The program emphasizes the use of behavioral skills to help establish
healthier eating patterns and a more physically active lifestyle within a supportive
family environment. A
group of 15-20 children and their families will meet weekly with a registered
dietitian to learn about healthy meal options and other nutrition strategies.
Additionally, children participate in one-hour group exercise sessions offered
three times a week in a fun, non-competitive environment. Members:

KIDACTIVE Ages
7-13 KidActive is a drop-in fitness class for kids ages 7-13. Physical
activity is promoted in a fun, non-competitive environment. KidActive focuses
on improving flexibility, strength and cardiovascular health. Price:

MARTIAL
ARTS - TAE KWON DO Ages 6 & up Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 7:00
- 8:15pm Learn
the ancient art of Korean Karate at your own pace. An excellent program to enhance
your level of physical fitness, gain self-confidence, and improve self-discipline
while learning this traditional art of self-defense. Lower Level.

FIT Ages 13-15 Second Saturday of each month from 11:00am - 2:00pm Required
for teens ages 13-15 years to access the fitness center. This class provides the
education to live a healthier life. Focus is on basic anatomy, the guidelines
of flexibility, cardiovascular and strength training exercise, nutrition, and
injury prevention and treatment. Teens will also be in the fitness center learning
hands-on the correct and safe methods to use the equipment. *Though not required,
teens ages 16-17 are encouraged to take Teen Fit if they are new to the fitness
center and just beginning an exercise program. Price:

BOOT
CAMP Ages 3-5 This class teaches fitness for kids utilizing obstacle
courses, ropes, cones, balls, etc. to help children with coordination and strength. Members:

TOTS Age 2 Focusing on large motor skills utilizing climbing

NIGHT 4th Saturday of every month from 7:00 - 11:00pm Join
us for a fun & exciting night! Hang out with your friends, meet new ones,
or participate in one of many fun activities, including; basketball, soccer, swimming,
corn hole, rock climbing, movies, YMCA Dance Club, Guitar Hero & Sing Star!

for Teens who are interested in volunteering, practicing their leadership skills,
making new friends, and trying out new adventures! Our kick off is in January

SCHOOL SWIM & GYM Looking for physical education opportunities for
your homeschooler? Look no further! The Blue Ash YMCA offers a Home School Swim
& Gym program for children ages 5-12. This physical education program will
be held in the gym and the pool, emphasizing skill development for lifelong physical
activities, while having fun and using skills to play games. This program runs

A mobile health program currently serves elementary school students as north as
Dayton, as south as Northern Kentucky and over to Indiana. A wide variety of health
topics are offered including topics such as energy balance, self-esteem, stress
management, hygiene and going green. This program is expanding to include people
from age 3-103. Adult nutrition, exercise, diabetes and seniors health are
