abdominal problems and/or diarrhea, please refrain from swimming.
LESSON
GUIDELINES

who are not potty trained are required to wear a swim diaper. They are available
at the front desk for a small fee. Please take your children to the restroom prior
to class.
- We
do not offer make-up lessons. Credits will be given under special circumstances
only.
- We
reserve the right to add, cancel, or combine classes. If a class is full, please
put your name on a waiting list.
- If
you are dissatisfied with your lesson, please let us know immediately. Please
do not wait until the end of the session.
- If
we need to cancel a class due to a health and safety pool closing, we will still
do a safety day on the deck.
The goals of YMCA swimming
lessons are:
- stroke
development
- personal
safety
- rescue
- water
sports and games
- personal
growth
Practicing personal safety and rescue skills each
session helps children remember these skills. Water sports and games are tools
to help us reinforce strokes and water skills learned. To accomplish these goals
in our aquatic program, please remember that children may be in the same level
for several sessions. REGISTRATION
You
must pre-register for all swim lessons. Registration will NOT be taken the first
day of class.
