How To Register
Registration begins Saturday - March 6, 2010

The Gamble-Nippert YMCA is a great place for kids to experience the best of summer. Summer campers will have fun, learn, and make new friends in a character-enriching environment. Weekly themes such as Mystical Magic, Gross Me Out, Games Galore and more make each week exciting and interesting for summer campers! The additional pre and post camp hours create a flexible summer for parents. Summer Camp is accredited through the American Camp Association. What parents can expect:

  • A developmentally appropriate program for ages 6 through 12, age 5 if Kindergarten graduate.

  • Qualified, well-trained staff.

  • Fun and exciting programs.

  • A variety of daily activities based on weekly themes.

  • A focus on the character values of caring, honestly, respect and responsibility.

Pre and Post Camp Care
6-12 years, ages 5 if Kindergarten graduate

Pre Camp: $10/week from 6:30 - 9:00am
Post Camp: $10/week from 4:00 - 6:00pm
Pre and Post Camp: $20/week

Weekly Fee for Traditional Day Camp

  • Ages: Ages 6 through 12; Age 5 if Kindergarten graduate
  • Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm
  • Extended Care: 6:30 - 9:00am and 4:00 - 6:00pm
  • Member: $119/week
  • Program Participant: $149/week

  • Week 9 (July 26- July 30) - Y Arts Adventures
  • Week 10 (August 2- August 6) - Mystical Magic- Abracadabra, and Prestochango!!
  • Week 11 (August 9- August 13) - Survivor: Fun Factor

 

Youth Sports Camps
6-12 years
Sport camp is for children who want to develop good skills and techniques, plus learn the value of sportsmanship and fair play. Each camp will include drills, skill development, learning the rules of the game and actual play as well as swimming and a lunch break. The focus of all activities will be for the children to become familiar with the sports, improve skill level, and make new friends.

Full Day from 9:00am - 4:00pm

  • Member: $124/week
  • Program Participant: $164/week

Half Day from 1:00 - 4:00pm

  • Member: $65/week
  • Program Participant: $75/week
