BIG FOREST NATION

• Y-Guides & Princesses
  This program is designed for the Father and Son/Daughter in grades K-3. With just a few hours a month, you can enjoy fun activities with your child to help strengthen that special relationship. Participate in monthly meetings with your child and about 5-10 other fathers and their children. Also, participate in larger monthly “Nation” events like bowling, pinewood derby and a camp out.
  

• Trailblazers
  This program is designed for Father and Son/Daughter in grades 4-6. With just a few hours a month, you can enjoy fun activities with your child to help continue strengthening that special relationship. Participate in monthly “Nation” events like skating, snow skiing and a camp out.

PARENT/CHILD PINT-SIZED PICASSOS
Ages 18 months – 3 Years
Complimentary with membership. This class gives you and your young child the opportunity to roll up your sleeves and create art! In this setting the process of creating the art is our first priority. Some mediums explored may be finger painting, easel painting, stamping, and more. This class is available to members only.

Ages 3-5
Complimentary with membership. Grab your chef hats and come join us for a cooking experience that will be delightful! We will combine literature books with cooking activities. During each lesson, we will also incorporate math skills such as counting, measuring, and number recognition. Bring your little chefs and their appetites too! Bon Appetite! Complimentary with membership. Your junior scientist will experience various scientific principles through handson activities such as making rockets, volcanoes, slime, and much more. This class is available to members only.

AMERICAN GIRL CLUB
Ages 6-10 - 2nd Thursday of each month 7:00-8:00 PM
Complimentary with membership. Spend an evening a month with girls like you and your American Girl dolls. Read about the girls and the times in which they lived. Discuss how life is different now. Make related crafts. Get to know the other girls’ dolls and how they spend their time together. One night will be a special tea party! This class available to members only.

If you are between the ages of 12 and 17, the M.E. Lyons YMCA Leaders’ Club can change your life! You will gain valuable leadership skills and selfconfidence, while achieving personal growth.
