Ages- 3-5 (Potty Trained)
The YMCA Preschool is for children 3-5 years
of age (potty trained). We offer a well-rounded program encouraging the development
of children to their fullest potential. Our program is approximately 40% academic
and 60% developmental. We offer appropriate hands-on activities that provide many
opportunities for learning and growth. We provide a safe, nurturing environment
that encourages independence, confidence and positive self-esteem in children.
We encourage critical thinking and conflict resolution skills.
We
take pride in offering a well-balanced program for children. Our program includes
the following: Character Development- Social Development- Cognitive Development-
Large & Fine Motor Development- Conflict Resolution- Youth Fitness- Science-
Creative Art Exploration- Math Readiness- Language Development- Environmental

CHILD DEVELOPMENT
Ages: 3 - 4 (Child must be potty trained)
A
2-hour classes geared towards physical activity and the arts. Includes gymnastics
instruction, creative play, movement, music, games, snacks, and crafts. Weekly
themes will keep the attention of the student and guide them through age appropriate

Children participate in a variety of fun activities including: games, swimming,
arts & crafts, field trips and more. To participate in the field trip, children

be at the R.C. Durr YMCA by 9:00 am. Time:
6:30am - 6:00pm
