Join the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati and Cincinnati Reds mascots on Thursday, August 14, 2014 to unveil an exciting new fitness program for children called Born to Move™.  The free Born to Move™ party on Fountain Square will be held from noon until 1 p.m. Families are invited to participate in the program that utilizes energizing music, games, dance, magic, and the power of imagination to encourage kids to get active.

You are invited to join us for the second annual golf outing benefiting the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky branches on Friday, August 22, 2014 beginning at 8 a.m. All skill levels of golfers encouraged to participate! Download the brochure and registration form (PDF)

Guest Procedures 


For the safety of all of our members and guests, all guests 18 years and older must present a photo ID and sign the guest registry at the beginning of each visit. Guests are permitted to use the YMCA a maximum of three times per calendar year. A current YMCA member must accompany all guests. We do reserve the right to limit or restrict guests. The YMCA of Greater Cincinnati is participating in Hoxworth’s Bleed for a Cause campaign during the entire month of July. By donating blood and mentioning you are participating for the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati (Group Code: YMC) you will not only be saving lives but also helping us potentially win $10,000. The competition is a point-based system and you must mention the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati at the time of the donation. Donations can be made at any Hoxworth neighborhood centers or local blood drives and we will also host a Blood Mobile at two YMCA locations:

Help our neighbors in need beat the summer heat by attempting to collect 300 fans and air conditioners for the St. Vincent de Paul 2014 Fan and Air Conditioner Drive. Donate your new or slightly used fan or air conditioner at any YMCA of Greater Cincinnati location during July and you could win a $500 prize pack of Gain products and restaurant gift certificates.  The winner will be announced on July 24, 2014 (YMCA winner does not need to be present to win) at the Salsa on the Square event on Fountain Square Join us and help us try and break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Salsa Dance.

Enjoy the excitement of the Reds while supporting the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati’s Annual Campaign, helping make the YMCA accessible to everyone in our community. We're back in action this spring, summer, and fall in 2014! The YMCA of Greater Cincinnati returns to revitalized Washington Park in downtown Cincinnati with its free workout series, for members and guests alike! Join us every Saturday morning at 9 a.m. sharp, from April to October. Download an updated schedule, or view the schedule on 3CDC's website.







Join the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati and Great Parks of Hamilton County for free fitness classes in the great outdoors this summer. All ages and fitness levels are welcome to attend the classes that will be led by certified YMCA fitness instructors at Winton Woods in Springfield Township and Woodland Mound in Anderson Township. 


On Tuesdays in July, from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m., free Great Outdoors Shape Up classes will be held at Winton Woods, located at 10245 Winton Road in Cincinnati. Every week, a new fitness class will be available offering everything from Hip Hop Dance, to Yoga, and Zumba®. 


On Sunday, August 3, two Free Firsts Family Fitness Try It classes will be held at Woodland Mound, located at 8250 Kellogg Road in Cincinnati. The classes are offered from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., and from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. The early class is geared toward parent-child workouts for kids between the ages of 1 and 5. The later class is geared toward families with children over the age of 5.
