Each summer, the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati turns into the hot spot for kids. Whether attending neighborhood YMCA daycamp or our summer resident Camp Ernst, children are provided with a safe place to spend their summer days. The YMCA relies on the support of the community to ensure that no one is denied the experience of our camps and each year thousands of grateful parents send us notes like this one from Connie:

My daughter is attending this camp for her 2nd year because of the generosity of sponsors like yourself. This camp has been a godsend. I didn't get the same daughter back that I sent to camp last year. To say that she loved this camp would be an understatement. She made friends at Camp Ernst that she continues to stay in touch with. Her self-esteem and confidence soared from attending this camp and this has carried over to her performance in school. She came out of her shell a little and is more social. She made better grades this year and seems to work harder at her goals. Her teachers and I couldn't believe the difference in her after last summer.
