The YMCA of Greater Cincinnati Strong Kids Campaign enables
the Y to be place for everyone and that no one is turned away for his or her inability
to pay. Through contributions to the campaign, the YMCA is able to impact the
life of an underserved preschooler or teenage, a deserving singe parent, or
an isolated senior adult forever. Each
year, over 500 YMCA volunteers work as partners with our staff to secure charitable
gifts from individuals, corporations and foundations. Every year, gifts to
the YMCA Annual Giving Campaign help.
The
YMCA of Greater Cincinnati Strong Kids Campaign begins February 11 and concludes
with a victory celebration on March 27. This year, the YMCA will raise $1.2 Million
for scholarships to YMCA programs and services. Half of monies collected through
the Strong Kids Campaign will be specifically earmarked for families
of greatest need and at greatest risk in urban areas.
