YOUTH ACTIVITIES & CHILD CARE

The YMCA of Greater Cincinnati provides safe, enriching and developmentally appropriate full day Early Childhood Care and Education, part-time preschool and school age child care programs in an atmosphere that reflects the MISSION of the YMCA.

YMCA Child Care programs assist children in developing positive Character traits such as caring, honesty, respect and responsibility for themselves and others.

The YMCA is the largest provider of child care programs in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, with 60 locations. We have been providing child care since 1978 and are proud to be recognized as one of the areas finest providers of top quality child care services.

YMCA Child Care staff members consist of dedicated people with specialized experience and training in the areas of child development and education. Their goal is to provide children with an atmosphere of warmth, security and continuity.

Our programs meet the YMCA of the USA's quality guidelines and are licensed by the states of Kentucky and Ohio and the City of Cincinnati where applicable. The YMCA Early Childhood Care and Education programs are also accredited, or in the process of being accredited, by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Only 5% of centers, in the U.S.,  achieve this recognition.

While we encourage everyone to look into YMCA membership and all it has to offer, you do not have to be a Y member to enroll in our child care programs.
