TO THE YMCA CHILD CARE AT RAYMOND WALTERS COLLEGE The Raymond Walters
College began providing child care to its students in 1989. Children ages 18 months
- 5 years of age are welcome to enjoy caring, educational, and socialization experiences
with the mature, trained staff at the Center, on a schedule that works for their
family. Raymond WaltersCollege staff are also welcome when space permits. A brand
new, state of the art child development center was built in the Flory Center in
2000. This well equipped Center includes classrooms for two age groups, a muscle
room and a playground.

STAFFING AND STAFF TO CHILD RATIOS The YMCA ratios exceed
State standards to offer children one to one interaction and attention from mature,
nurturing, trained adults. Leadership
in each group is provided by mature professionals with college level education.
